No lying, no telling you things are fine when they’re not, no giving you vague explanations for why your experience is different than it should be. Over the course of the last year, there have been several instances where bots came onto our website as well. These were NOT normal users looking around the website. The volume of these bots created so much stress on the site that it made it difficult for real people who wanted to visit the website to do so. It put stress on all parts of the site: how quickly pages would load, if you could check out, if you could complete payments etc… We did take steps to block this traffic because it would create even more problems for us in terms of accessing the site, but doing so also caused an unintended problem; Some of our real customers (especially those using VPN’s) were having difficulty getting into our site to make purchases. This is not the type of experience we want for you. So we took care of the issues we could fix, we improved upon what needed improving and continued to work until this issue resolved itself in a more stable environment. ## **What Changed** We did not just wait for the problem to pass. We made changes to improve access and protect the website at the same time. First, we added CAPTCHA protection to help filter automated traffic before it can put pressure on the site. That’s why you may sometimes see a page with a checkbox asking you to confirm that you are human. This allows real customers to continue using Weed Wonderland while making it harder for bots to flood the system.  Second, we reworked the access permissions for VPN users. Instead of blocking too aggressively, we adjusted the rules so more real customers can reach the website even when using VPNs. The situation is now much more balanced, but we want to be honest: we are still under pressure. Some days are calm. Some days the traffic is heavier. And sometimes, during stronger attacks, the website may still slow down or payment processing may take a little longer. ## **Why We Are Telling You This** We are not saying this to make excuses. We are saying it because we respect our customers. You deserve to know what is happening when the website is slow, when a payment link takes longer than usual, or when access does not work perfectly from a VPN. Weed Wonderland is still here. We are still working. We are still improving the system. And we are still focused on making sure customers can reach us even when the website is having a difficult moment. Strong platforms are not the ones that never get hit. Strong platforms are the ones that stay available, keep improving, and communicate clearly when something happens.
